Ontario-Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream

This stream assists international students with job offers in Ontario to work and settle as permanent residents in the province with support from an employer.

Apply within 2 years from the date of graduation

Permanent, full-time job offer

Canadian work experience not required

Language test not required

NOC Skill Type/Level 0, A, or B

[Employer requirements]

Have been in active business in the least 3 years

Inside the GTA: the employer must have at least (i) 1,000,000 CAD in annual gross revenues, and (ii) 5 full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Outside the GTA: the employer must have at least (i) 500,000 CAD in annual gross revenues, and (ii) 3 full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Ontario-Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

This stream provides foreign workers with a full-time job offer in a skilled occupation in Ontario and related two-year experiences the capability to settle and work in the province. 

At least 2 years of full-time work experience in the same NOC code as in the one in the job offer, and in the last 5 years

NOC Skill Type/Level 0, A, or B

Median wage

Have eligible status to work in Canada

Have been in active business in the least 3 years

Ontario-Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills

This stream gives foreign workers with a job offer in specific in-demand occupations, NOC Code C or D,the opportunity to apply to permanently live and work in Ontario.

At least 9 months of full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in Ontario, in the same NOC code as your job offer.

Permanent, full-time job offer

NOC Skill Type/Level C or D

Median wage

Score at least CLB 4 in either French or English

Valid licence or other authorization (if applicable)

Have enough settlement funds

Ontario's Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities

This stream enables the OINP to nominate individuals who are eligible to enter the federal Express Entry pool and who have the required education, skilled work experience, language ability, and other characteristics to successfully establish themselves and integrate into Ontario’s labour market and communities.

Have a valid profile in the Express Entry pool

Score at least CLB 7

Hold at least bachelor's degree

Minimum amount of settlement funds

Intend to reside in Ontario

Meet the eligibility requirements for one of the Canada's Federal High Skilled programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Ontario's Express Entry: Skilled Trades Stream

This stream enables the OINP to nominate skilled trades people with active Express Entry profiles who are already living in Ontario and have Ontario work experience in a skilled trade.

1 year of cumulative, paid, full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience in one of the following NOC codes in 2 years

Have a valid profile in the Express Entry pool

NOC Code 633x / 72xx / 73xx / 82xx

CLB 5 in either French or English

Hold a valid certificate or licence, if applicable

Live in Ontario

International Masters and PhD Graduates

Two streams dedicated to international students who have completed their Master's degree or PhD in an eligible university in Ontario.

Have lived legally in Ontario for at least two years during your PhD studies

Completed at least one academic year of full-time studies in the Master's degree

Must have resided in Ontario of at least 1 year during the past 2 years before applying

Apply within 2 years after the date on your degree

Legal status in Canada

Minimum amount of settlement funds

CLB 7 in either French or English
