Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot
The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and the Home Support Worker Pilot are 5-year pilot programs that let qualified caregivers and their family members come to Canada with the goal of becoming permanent residents.
Who’s qualified?
Qualifying 24 months Canadian work experience within 36 months in one of these National Occupational Classification (NOC) jobs:▸ home child care provider - NOC 4411
⋅ experience as a foster parent doesn’t count
or
▸ home support worker - NOC 4412
⋅ experience as a housekeeper doesn’t count
Applicants who do not have 24 months of qualifying work experience, must also provide proof both of the following:▸ Valid full-time job offer
▸ Ability to perform the work
CLB 5 in either French or EnglishOne year of Canadian post-secondary education or foreign equivalent to be eligible
